I am falling behind blogging my adventures so in true stew fashion, I am tossing them together here.  Above is a day spent spinning on the front porch of the Bailey log cabin.  These photos are of the Panhandle Pioneer Settlement in Blountstown Florida.  It is a magical place!  Time moves more slowly here.  Birdsong dances with fiddles and guitars and blacksmith hammering.  Melissa and I spent the day chatting with the carvers in-between waves of children and their teachers.  Melissa's lovely wheel is revolutionary war era.  This is older than the 1880's log cabin that we are sitting on!

Happy workshop students

This was the monthly workshop at PCA Guild, another wonderful morning.  Carolyn showed us how to laminate papers on muslin and decorate to use in fiber art projects and notecards.  Carolyn is a wonderful, talented instructor.  I would enjoy anything she teaches.
