Clamshell box finish

The Book Arts Guild project this month was a clamshell box taught by Miss Marie.

This was made to fit the lovely little book taught by Kate Barber

I put it in my bag too soon and it dried a bit wonky

This was so much fun we decided to have a challenge to make a multi-section slipcase.  This should be a good project to build on skills from the clamshell box.

Grand and Glorious Day and What's on the Dock

Went to Troyfest yesterday, a lovely regional arts festival in Troy Alabama with my bff.  It was a very nice show, and just the right number of people.

Went to Melbourne to visit family recently and saw some local sights, new Bass Pro Shop, Ruth Funk Textile Center and botanical gardens, and Eau Gaille.
