Native and non natives in my yard

In no particular order thanks to blogger, a few plants from my yard.
Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow bush.  The flowers start out purple and fade over a couple of days

This was a gift from the gods this morning.  I rolled the trash out and this lovely flower was sitting in the driveway.
Thank you for the lovely gift!

This is a native plant.  Soapwart.

More soapwart and newly planted beach daisy

Miss Natawny.  She has lightened up in the last couple of weeks.

Native magnolia.  Between magnolia blossoms and confederate jasmine, the back yard is devine!

In love with natives

I've been trying to add native plants to my yard over the last several years.  They take less water and the bees and butterflies like them.  Here are photos from a recent trip to De Funiak Springs.  These are of a native plant garden at their charming library on the lake.  In a later post, I'll show some of the natives from my yard.

Honeysuckle

Native azaleas

Native azalea

Possibly rain lily.  We saw hundreds by the side of the road on our recent trip. Stunning!

Grand and glorious weekend

We spent last weekend with our son and his lovely wife.  Totally grand and glorious.

Vero Beach stop during a yarn crawl with a group of wonderful women

Sip and Knit shop stop with lovely daughter in law

My son has a way cool way to film bees coming and going.  He is so clever!

Grand bebees
